State Senator Bob Hartwell (D-Bennington) celebrated the Fruit Tree Planting Project’s sale of 350 fruit trees by planting a ceremonial tree donated by local partner Mettowee Mill Nursery. Transition Town Manchester and trained volunteers will plant the 350 peach, pear, plum, apple and cherry trees in the spring sunshine!
