EPA Environmental Merit Award

The New England Office of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has selected the Episcopal Diocese of Vermont to receive an Environmental Merit Award in recognition of its exceptional work and commitment to the environment in 2009.
 
The EPA's Environmental Merit Award is an annual award that recognizes outstanding environmental advocates who have made significant contributions toward preserving and protecting our natural resources.
 
The ceremony is on April 22, 2010, the 40th anniversary of Earth Day, at 1 pm in Faneuil Hall's Great Hall, Boston, MA.
